Roles and what each one may do

This is not a description of how the system is meant to behave. It is the table the server reads on every request: the permissions below are checked against your account's memberships in the database, before anything happens.

About the role simulator. Inside your own workspace you hold every role, so that you can walk all ten journeys without needing eleven colleagues. The role selector on the dashboard changes what the screens show you, and it never grants a permission: an account that does not hold a role is refused by the server whatever the selector says, and the security suite in the submission tests exactly that.
