Terminology
Written for someone who has never used this system and does not work in ISC administration every day. Plain words, no cross references to documents you would have to go and find.
| Term | What it means |

| FCE | First Category Event. A competition run under FAI rules that counts as an official world or continental event, such as a World Championships or a World Cup. Everything in this system hangs off an FCE. |
| FCEAD | First Category Event Application Document. The ISC document that sets out how an organiser applies to run an FCE, what the application must contain, what it costs and what happens after approval. Annex 2 of it is the bid form. |
| NAC | National Airsport Control. The national body the FAI recognises in each country. An organiser bids with its NAC behind it, and entries to a competition are submitted by the NAC, not by individual athletes. |
| IBD | Information Bulletin Document, more usually called the Official Information Bulletin. Bulletin 1 tells the world about the event; Bulletin 2 adds what has changed since. The dates for both are set by the FCEAD. |
| Organiser Agreement | The contract between the FAI and the organiser once a bid has been approved. This system produces the request for it and tracks it; the agreement itself is signed outside the system. |
| Performance Bond | A sum the organiser lodges as security that the event will be run as promised. The published 2026 ISC Fees Schedule contains discipline-count tiers. The applicable event-year schedule and grouping need ISC confirmation; this evaluator leaves the amount unset. |
| Sanction Fee | A per person fee payable to the FAI for an FCE. Which roles pay it is exactly the question the two source documents disagree on, which is why the payer set here is configuration and both lists ship as presets. |
| Provisional Entry | An early, approximate declaration by a NAC of how many people it expects to send, and in which disciplines. It closes 75 days before the competition starts. |
| Final Entry | The real entry: named people, named teams, roles and licence details. Additions close 45 days before the competition starts. |
| Alternate | A named reserve. An Alternate does not appear on the initial manifest, because they are not jumping. If they replace a competitor they become one, so the Jury holds their record from the start and Manifest can call it up on the day. |
| Head of Delegation | The person answerable for a country delegation at the event. One per delegation. They may also be competing. |
| 1st VP | The ISC First Vice President. In the bid process they receive submissions, chase NAC approval, extend reviewer deadlines, record approval and record the Plenary decision. |
| Bureau | The elected officers of the ISC who run its business between Plenary meetings. Bureau members review bids. |
| Plenary | The annual meeting at which the ISC as a whole takes its decisions, including awarding events. A late bid needs a two thirds majority there. |
| RTTWG | Registration Tool Temporary Working Group. The ISC group that wrote the requirements this system is built against and that this evaluation is prepared for. |
